Weathering and Erosion of SKITTLES!

For this activity, the 5th grade class was asked to observe and illustrate what happens to skittles when water is dropped on them.

After the activity, the girls were asked to compare what they observed about the skittle to the weathering and erosion of rocks.

Many of us will start learning about water and why it is important.

The 7th grade was asked to compare a cell to a city. The girls worked in groups.

Today the 5th grade explored the school grounds and observed the thing they found. The girls recorded information about the physical properties of the objects they found.

Hello Visitation Academy Family and Friends,

Welcome back to school! I am excited to be back and to see everyone again. This year our science class will be more challenging because I know the girls will rise to the challenge. I look forward to having a fun and productive year. As the year progresses there will be more posts to come.
