For this activity, the 5th grade class was asked to observe and illustrate what happens to skittles when water is dropped on them.
After the activity, the girls were asked to compare what they observed about the skittle to the weathering and erosion of rocks.

Today the 5th grade explored the school grounds and observed the thing they found. The girls recorded information about the physical properties of the objects they found.
